Meningitis is a devastating and deadly virus and can leave survivors with life-changing disabilities and ongoing health issues.
My family knows only too well the effects Meningitis can have on a family.
It was many years ago now that my sister lost her wee boy Kristopher, who was just one. Although it was many years ago, you never get over something like that.
My sister has always wanted to raise money for Meningitis and didn't know how to go about it, so now my sister, my twin and our friends, have all joined forces to do it together.
Over the last three years, we have raised an incredible £7,500 and be the end of 2018, we'd love to top £10,000.
To help us achieve this target I will be taking part in London Marathon for the third time this year and to support the fundraising I will be hosting the following events:
• James' Fitness Fun Day - Saturday 10th February
• James' Annual Meningitis Now Charity Dinner - Saturday 12th May
The money we raise for Meningitis Now goes towards vital research, raising awareness to the signs and symptoms of meningitis as well supporting other families affected by this terrible disease.
Help grow Kristopher's Tribute by adding messages or memories you'd like to share.
